I am heartbroken for your loss Tara. I have twin girls, and I raised them to be connected to nature, all living things, with kindness and respect for all. Both stopped eating meat in grade 10 -- then seafood stopped ... they are both creative (studying music scoring and film production) as your Dear Mila clearly was (& still is on the other side). Creative souls live from a different vibe. Mine attended an arts high school for musical theatre in Toronto - being kind, caring, considerate and thrown into what turned out to be a judgmental, highly competitive program was challenging - more for one daughter than the other. For a while I was at a loss on how to deal with the emotional roller coaster of self-doubt and overwhelm that came in waves .. as a spiritual life coach I pulled every tool I had to help the mind of my teen who would veer down a dark road facing the "real world" created by too many educators & students driven to succeed at all costs who are more about results than fostering creativity and nurturing well-being. It's different for those who are connected creatively/spiritually to function in this world - then Covid arrived and we faced living with decision also not to vaccinate & what that meant in terms of isolation - mine a few years ahead of Mila. Jumping back and forth on this vaccine, but ultimately it was a NO for us and living with the impacts. No restaurants - online school - nothing in person with their peers. I see why Mila felt like no where to go...trapped by a world with seemingly no hope. I am working to help youth/parents dealing with these barbaric restrictions. Pushing to get them lifted however I can. I am so so very sad for your loss ... no words can express...please reach out anytime to connect should you feel called. Sending peace, love and healing your way. 🙏🏼
tell me the price
Tara, I'm with you in the dark bargaining, offering any price to get our daughters to return. Sending my love and compassion. Shirley
